Now Open Treadwell Park Downtown

With the dog days of summer upon us, there’s no better way to relax than with a cold one in hand. Here’s where you should be drinking this week in NYC.

NOW OPEN

TREADWELL PARK DOWNTOWN

Treadwell Park, Merchants Hospitality’s celebrated craft beer hall on the Upper East Side, has opened its second location in Battery Park. Similar to the UES location, the new Treadwell Park Downtown offers an elaborate list of over seventy rotating bottle and draught beer options from across the globe, curated by Beverage Director and Certified Cicerone® Anne Becerra. From the kitchen, there are beerhall staples created by Chef Stephen Lyle such as Giant Soft Pretzels with Liptauer Cheese, Bratwurst on a Pretzel Bun, as well as twists on classics, such as the Giant Hot Dog Banh Mi. The venue features floor to ceiling windows that lead into an outdoor beer garden. Inside, the space is complete with communal beer hall tables, an eighteen seat bar, seventeen large-screen TVs, ping pong and foosball tables, and classic pinball machines. A theater-like lounge is available for those looking for a private setting or a more intimate place to watch favorite sporting events on a giant projector screen. Come through for beer tastings, after-work happy hours, family gatherings, whatever! 301 South End Ave., 212-945-0528, www.treadwellpark.com, @treadwellpark
